Network Chemistry Adds Advanced Intrusion Prevention, RF Signal Analysis and Audit Compliance Tools to RFprotect™ Enterprise
Major Release of Award-Winning Wireless Intrusion Protection System Unveiled
Palo Alto, Calif. - November 15, 2025 - Network Chemistry, provider of advanced RF security solutions, announced today the availability of a new version of its award-winning RFprotect™ Enterprise, a Wireless Intrusion Protection System. New features include active intrusion prevention, advanced RF signal analysis, and an enhanced reporting engine for auditing industry policy compliance.

RFshieldT Intrusion Protection
To meet customer needs for active measures to defend against identified rogue APs and malicious client devices, RFprotect Enterprise now includes the RFshield Module. This new intrusion prevention capability enables the system operator to immediately disable a device until it can be physically isolated and removed from the network, preventing both malicious APs and clients from connecting to legitimate devices before they can do damage. RFshield is a critical component of RFprotect's comprehensive Detect-Assess-Disable-Audit process for mitigating the threat of wireless rogue devices in both wireless and wired networks.
Advanced RF Signal Analysis
To meet customer needs for more visibility of radio frequency (RF) performance and threats, RFprotect Enterprise now includes the RFanalysis Module. This tool analyzes RF signals and how 802.11 traffic is affected by signal degradation and noise across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The new capability provides real-time graphical displays of RF packet performance against measured signal and noise levels, which can be used to detect a variety of malicious and accidental interference sources, as well as hard-to-isolate performance anomalies due to intermittent channel cross-talk, bleed-over, and overloading.
Auditing Industry Policy Compliance
To meet customer needs to automate the auditing of industry policy compliance, RFprotect Enterprise now generates pass/no-pass compliance reports to facilitate the audit of enterprise wireless domain's compliance to specific industry policy. This is particularly helpful to highly regulated organizations in verticals that need to meet stringent industry regulations, e.g. healthcare, government, financial services, utilities, etc. RFprotect can now generate automated reports against key industry regulations, including HIPAA for healthcare organizations and the 8100.2 Directive for the Department of Defense agencies and their supports. Support for other industry policies will be announced in the future.
In addition to this RFprotect Enterprise upgrade, Network Chemistry has also announced RFprotect Mobile, a new companion software application used for walk-around wireless scanning and analysis (see separate press release).
About RFprotect Product Family
Network Chemistry's RFprotect is a family of Wireless Intrusion Protection products that protect wired and wireless networks from wireless-specific vulnerabilities, rogues, and attacks. Intended to run on a notebook PC, RFprotect Mobile provides a portable tool set for field engineers to locate rogue or malicious devices, and audit wireless networks for vulnerabilities, AP or sensor coverage holes, and network mis-configurations. It also fully integrates and synchronizes with RFprotect Enterprise.
Pricing and Availability
Version 3.1 of the RFprotect Client-Server software is available immediately and pricing starts at $1,199. It is also available at no extra charge to customers covered under Network Chemistry's annual maintenance and subscription service. RFprotect Sensors are priced at $599.
RFshield is available immediately as an optional software add-on and requires RFshield-capable sensors. A specially-priced RFprotect pilot system is available for $2,499, which includes version 3.1 software, three 802.11a/b/g sensors, and one year of maintenance.
